Assistant Director: Migrant Scholars Leadership Institute (Program held at UCLA)
- Trained and supervised a staff of 15 residential assistants.
- Supervised 100 high school students and tutored them during evenings.
- Managed logistics and daily organization of program functions.
- Helped build a positive community of students based on motivation, ambition and leadership.
- Assisted students with personal and academic concerns.
- Led educational based workshops and extracurricular activities/outings.
- Held constant communication with parents regarding the behavior and development of their children during the program.
- Happily devoted to a 12-14 hour workday. This is where my passion for education began.
